Senior Consultant

Salary: Negotiable
Start: 2 - 4 weeks
Location: London, City and Docklands

The successful candidate will be involved in the identification, opportunity development and delivery of consultancy work. This will cover all aspects of the Sales, Delivery and Internal Infrastructure disciplines across the Company’s business. You may contribute to a variety of consultancy projects at any given time, working in various small teams and taking on differing levels of responsibility, e.g. working in pre-sales, proposal and bid work and hands-on delivery.

• Building business by responding to, and initiating, customer enquiries and writing proposals, which are effectively tailored to clients' requirements.
• Undertake client account management activities, building and maintaining effective ongoing client support processes.
• Recruitment responsibilities – sifting candidates for appropriateness and interviewing for associate and established roles.
• Contribute to consultancy projects either individually or within small teams - project types will vary according to the senior manager’s specialised knowledge, interests and abilities.
• Establish and maintain good client relationships, dealing with clients' needs appropriately, while competently promoting Xceed products and services.
• Manage consultancy projects, including the support and supervision of other consultants involved in the project, when necessary.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to less experienced staff.
• Line management responsibilities for more junior consultants, established staff as well as associates.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of latest developments and professionally related issues.
• Build own professional and technical skills, actively seeking opportunities to extend personal knowledge and experience.

   

Consultant

Salary: Negotiable

Location: London, City and Docklands

• You have Prince 2 Practitioner and, preferably ITIL accreditation.
  
• Previous Finance sector experience would be an advantage.
  
• You will be able to demonstrate in-depth experience of Project Management in a technical environment.
  
• You will be based at our client sites, working closely with application development Project Managers to provide infrastructure capabilities for customer facing systems.
  
• You will be responsible for managing multiple projects with budgets ranging in size from £10k - £500k, through all stages of the project management lifecycle, from project initiation, through design, development, testing and implementation.
  
• You will be expected to deliver projects within budget and to aggressive timescales, following client standards for successful project implementation.
  
• Enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and a proven track record with stakeholder management are key attributes for this role plus a desire to succeed and to be involved at all levels to make the Project a success.
